Micro Instrument Corp Annouce Three Key Employee Additions
Micro Instrument Corp is pleased to announce the addition of the following key individuals to our company. These additions, coupled with our already strong engineering and fabrication groups, will help pave the way towards positioning Micro Instrument Corp at the leading edge of Assembly and Test Systems Integration Companies.
Jim Miller comes to Micro as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Jim has 29+ years of experience with automation machine design and manufacturing process development. Possessing 13 U.S. patents for technologies, which include Medical Device and Material Delivery Equipment, Jim has enjoyed opportunities to develop a wide range of machines and manufacturing processes for a diverse mix of products. Leveraging his knowledge of mechanical design and work experiences with a wide range of manufacturing processes enables Jim to satisfy those unique requirements with creative solutions. Having worked with many talented people in both the U.S.A. and Asia has given him the experience and vision to provide efficient solutions to customer's needs and requirements.
Victor Scipioni comes to Micro as a Business Development and Applications Engineer. After Victor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, he took the unusual step of accepting his first position as an Apprentice in the machine shop and assembly area of a custom machine builder. Working in the shop instilled in him a love and appreciation for custom automation and how it helped customers manufacture their products. He spent the next 5 years designing equipment for that same company. Eventually, he accepted a position with a larger International Systems Integrator in the sales department where, for the next 12 years, he was responsible for developing concepts and estimates for automated systems and ultimately for selling systems to customers in various industries. Victor is now using his 20+ years of automation experience to help Micro Instrument Corp. achieve the highest customer satisfaction ratings in our industry.
Greg McDonald comes to Micro as a Mechanical Designer. Greg started in the Machine Tool industry as a Machinist Apprentice. He graduated as a New York State journeyman Tool and Die Maker. Greg moved into machine building and started in the Electro-Mechanics program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon completion of his studies, he began his career in engineering as a Machine Designer. Over the course of the next 30 years, Greg has had the opportunity to serve a wide array of industries and their associated technologies. Greg enjoys his chosen profession and it is demonstrated daily in the quality of the engineering and subsequent builds he provides. He is looking forward to new opportunities within Micro Instrument Corp.
